Windows 10, or as I like to call it, Win 10, is no longer free to upgrade. It’ll cost around $140 to $200 depending on the edition you need. But, as usual, there’s a loophole. Or something like that. Microsoft has a feature called Assistive Technology. It’s what helps those who have a hard time seeing use their computers easier. You know, extreme color contrasts, magnifying glasses, audible queues on the computer. That kind of thing. If you claim to use these services the Win 10 upgrade is still free- for now. Just click on this link to go to the Win 10 download page for Assistive Technology. It’s the same version of Windows 10 as it was before. Only now we can choose when to click on the upgrade instead of Microsoft nagging or forcing the upgrade. I make no claims to how long it’ll last but if you’re regretting that you didn’t upgrade- you still have a chance.
